Description.
Adults and juveniles are a reddish brown. Adults having a cream pattern on their pronutum, with cream flashes along the edges of with forewings. Juveniles have cream markings on their thorax and abdoman.
Habitat.
In warm, humid environments. Glasshouses and Ports are all ideal candidates for infestation. Infrequently found in the UK, usually as a result of imported goods.
Control Recommendations.
Gel baits are the perfect choice for the control of cockroaches.
Special Notes.
Often mistaken with P.americana, can be distinguished by their additional markings and usually smaller size.
